Facilities

Is there parking available?

Please use the vacant lot directly in front of the building or the parking lot along Route 249. Guests arriving in large vehicles, such as dump trucks or 4-ton trucks, are kindly requested to park in the lower parking lot along the highway instead of the lot in front of the building.

Is there a toilet in the room?

Toilets are not available inside the guest rooms, including private rooms. Please use the shared toilets located on the 1st and 2nd floors (one on each floor).

Is there a bath?

There are two gender-neutral shower rooms. Please finish using them by the 11:00 PM lights-out time.

If you would like to soak in a bathtub, please use a nearby public bath facility. (The nearest one is "Comisen Monzen BASE," a 3-minute drive or 16-minute walk away. Fee: ¥500 / Hours: 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM / Closed: 2nd and 4th Thursdays.)

Is it barrier-free?

The facility is not barrier-free. As the guesthouse is a renovated old private house, there are steep stairs and steps.

Is internet access available?

Wi-Fi is available

Is there space to work?

Working is possible in the shared living room and the Japanese-style room. (Please note that as these are communal spaces, there may be ambient noise from other guests chatting.) Additionally, private rooms are equipped with a table and a chair.

Is there a smoking area?

Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the entire building. If you smoke, please do so outdoors. Our guesthouse is located within Wajima City's Kuroshima district, an "Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings," characterized by a dense row of wooden structures. For fire prevention, we kindly ask that you dispose of all cigarette butts properly and strictly follow smoking etiquette. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Are there any house rules or things to keep in mind?

Our guesthouse is a renovated traditional house, and due to its structure, sound travels easily. As this is a shared space for all our guests, we kindly ask for your cooperation in keeping voices down and being mindful of alarm clock volumes to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone.

Can I use the shower even if I am not staying overnight?

It is possible between 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. It is available for ¥300 per use. Prior notification is not required.

Dining

Are meals provided?

Currently, we only offer room-only stays. There are several dining options, such as Japanese set-meal restaurants and soba shops, within a 10-minute drive. We have a "Dining Map" available at the guesthouse, so please feel free to ask our staff for recommendations.

Are there any convenience stores or supermarkets nearby?

A FamilyMart (closes at 6:00 PM) and two drugstores selling fresh food and pre-made meals (closing at 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM) are located about a 10-minute drive away. Snacks and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase within the guesthouse.

Can I cook for myself?

You can use the kitchen. Cooking utensils, tableware, a microwave, a refrigerator, and basic seasonings are provided, so please feel free to use them.

Do you provide shampoo and body soap?

Yes, please use the shower provided in the shower room.

Are towels available?

They are available for rent for ¥100.

What amenities are available?

Toothbrushes and razors are available for purchase for ¥100 each.

Can I do laundry?

Washing machines are available for ¥200, and clothes dryers for ¥300.

Are hair dryers available?

It is provided in the washroom area.

Reservations

Is same-day reservation possible?

Yes, same-day reservations are accepted until 5:00 PM.

What are the check-in hours?

Check-in is available from 4:00 PM. For guests arriving after 8:00 PM, we use a self check-in system. Please follow the instructions at the entrance to complete the check-in process.

What is the cancellation policy?

Same-day / No-show: 100%

1 day before: 80%

2–4 days before: 50%

5–6 days before: 30%

What should I do if my arrival time changes (earlier or later)?

We can accommodate you after 4:00 PM. No notification regarding changes to your arrival time is required.

I would like to cancel my reservation due to the bad weather forecast.

Cancellation fees during severe weather forecasts will be waived only if your safety is severely at risk or if it is physically impossible to visit due to public transport closures. Please contact us for consultation.

Can I book without a credit card?

To prevent booking-related issues, we generally do not accept reservations made through non-internet channels. However, we can accept direct bookings only if the full payment is made via bank transfer at least 6 days prior to your stay—the date from which cancellation fees begin to apply. If you prefer to pay via bank transfer, please consult with us in advance by email or telephone.

Others

I would like to send my luggage in advance. Can you receive and store it for me?

Yes, it is possible. We charge ¥300 per item for this service. Please be sure to consult with us via email or phone prior to shipping.

Can I get there by public transportation?

Yes, it is possible.

From Noto Satoyama Airport, you can take the "Furusato Taxi" shared taxi for ¥1,800 one-way (reservation required by 3:00 PM the previous day).

If arriving from the Anamizu area, it is approximately a 50-minute walk from the "Sojiji-mae" bus stop, or a 6-minute ride by "Honan Taxi" (approx. ¥2,000).

Yes, it is possible. Usage within 2 hours is ¥500, and ¥250 for every hour after that.

Can I check in early or check out late?
