Aiming for a region where people can live richly 100 years from now, we are developing revitalization projects based at our guesthouse. We practically address community-based issues such as the restoration of abandoned farmland and wildlife damage control. We are creating a place to learn, experience, and pass on a life in harmony with nature to the future.

Real play in the sea and mountains
You can enjoy marine activities like SUP and surfing, or even fish and dive to catch your own dinner. Turning away from the sea, rich mountains are right within your reach. Farming, foraging for wild plants, and catching wild boars—nestled between the sea and mountains, Kuroshima-machi is never short of play for living.

Guesthouse Kuroshima is located at the center of many sunset spots, where you can watch the sun sink into the Sea of Japan's horizon every day. The entire town is designated as a national "Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings," boasting a beautiful townscape that reflects the history of Kitamaebune ships. Every scene is so beautiful it feels as if you are living inside a painting.

Encounters and connections
Noto is currently vibrant and full of energy as it works to recover from the earthquake. It is a place full of encounters beyond anything I could have imagined on my own path. I have witnessed many challenges—once thought impossible—realized like miracles through the power of connection. The fact that Guesthouse Kuroshima, once completely destroyed, was able to reopen in a different building within just three months is the ultimate proof of this power.
