Guest House Kuroshima

Hiring: Guesthouse Manager
Guesthouse Kuroshima is more than just a place to stay; it is a hub for passing on a "rich life in harmony with nature" to the next 100 years. By valuing encounters with our guests and interactions with the local community, we build our lives with our own hands through the power of connection.
We see Guesthouse Kuroshima as the foundation of our efforts to create a sustainable lifestyle and as the "gateway" for visitors to first engage with this region. Rather than just a "place to sleep," why not join us in creating a "home to return to"?
We are currently seeking a manager to take on the operation of such a guesthouse.

Lastly
Chatting with guests, enjoying activities together... You might think, "I want to run a guesthouse someday." I, too, was once one of those who held that admiration.
However, when I actually began opening and operating this guesthouse, I realized that the version of myself who simply enjoyed guesthouses as a guest was only seeing the tip of the iceberg.
The reality is that 90% of guesthouse management consists of "mundane behind-the-scenes work"—so quiet it can sometimes feel lonely. If you see it as nothing more than endless simple tasks, it might feel disheartening.
And yet, strangely, by piling up each small task while imagining the smiles of our guests, those "simple tasks" transform into a precious time that fulfills your own heart.
Of course, there are times when we face unreasonable situations or have to tackle work we aren't particularly good at. In those moments, we ask ourselves: "What is it that we truly want to achieve through this work?"
Our mission at Minato is to "Create a rich life with our own hands." Even if it's something we cannot achieve alone right now, the power of connection born here at Guesthouse Kuroshima will surely make that ideal life a reality one day.
We are waiting for someone who can walk this path with us, holding these thoughts in their heart. Why not build a guesthouse where we "Live with the sea and mountains" together?
